   As the CEO of the VTech CMS Division and Member of the Board, I would like to take the opportunity to thank you for logging on to our Web Site.

   VTech CMS will further continue the effort to expand our market share and the customer base, in areas where we are best: Professional Audio, Wireless, Telecomm, Power Conversion Products, LED Lighting, and Industrial Automation. As you know, VTech CMS(Contract Manufacturing Services) has been in existence since 1993 as a Division within the VTech Group and one of our key markets is the Professional Audio application which has grown rapidly over the past years. To further support our customers and potential clients in their needs for audio performance testing of their design and their products, we have established an Audio Lab at our Shenzhen R&D Center, operated and supported by our VTech CMS Engineers, to meet the growing demand.

   To meet the increasing demand in outsourcing, VTech CMS(Contract Manufacturing Services) Division now occupies three buildings within the VTech LiaoBu facility, with a total area of 650,000 sq. ft. Each building can perform medium to high PCB assembly work or turn-key work for electronic products, i.e. requiring enclosures based on sheet metal or plastics. All together, we own and operate 16 automated SMT lines.

   I have personally focused with my team on further expanding and improving the relationship of our Procurement department with key global vendors and distributors, as part of our Global CRM strategy. VTech CMS(Contract Manufacturing Services), as a part of the US$ 1.8 billion Corporation, has a very unique position in regard to a strong buying power. Also, our global clients require the best pricing and the shortest lead times. Several key meetings between vendors, suppliers, myself, and several of my Senior Managers took place over the past months and have expanded the platform and foundation of our Supply Chain Management and its procedures. In other words, due to VTechs strong financial status, we are in the position to buying at a better price and to getting the lead times reduced.
