VTech Contract Manufacturing Services (VTech CMS) announced today that a new building complex is under development as an additional manufacturing facility to meet the increasing demand for VTech’s Contract manufacturing Services. The new complex is located on the same complex as all other CMS buildings, see Picture 1. The new complex is expected to be completed by year end 2011 and should be in full operation by early 2012.

The new complex will add additional 200,000 sq. ft. in manufacturing space to the current manufacturing site. This is equivalent to increase in manufacturing capacity by 40%. This new complex, in a similar layout and construction as all existing buildings on the premises, will have a Clean Room installation, Class 10,000, and is designed to especially accommodate projects with high complexity in nature

The new complex demonstrates the long term commitment of VTech in providing sufficient manufacturing capacity to customers.
